Ted Porter was insightful regarding Rev 13:18 -- the 666 scripture (see link). Ted wrote:

Why does this verse specify that “him that hath understanding” is required to count the number of the beast?  Why does it say “Here is wisdom”?  Why can’t just anyone count the name of the beast?  Why can’t we just have a computer take names and find out which ones equal 666?"

Note the requirements to solving the riddle: understanding, wisdom and counting. Ted is right. Pure counting alone seems too easy (the way Ted puts it, it takes zero wisdom). Now this whole business of counting the name of the antichrist has been going on for the past 2,000 years. I am not claiming to have more wisdom than every one else, but I think it is because time is short, and people used the wrong calculator to do the counting!
Also, I sensed that some doves feel we should look for Jesus, not the son of perdition. But we are looking for Jesus alright when we try to count the name of the antichrist (something not prohibited in Scripture; in fact, the Apostle John teased us with these words, "Let him that hath understanding count the number ...."). The arrival of the antichrist should EXCITE us no end because it means Jesus is AT THE DOOR!

Evidence #1
So many things about Obama is marked with the number 666 it is just breathtaking! But we need first to clear the stumbling block that plagued us up until now. Traditionally we resort to the Hebrew and Greek gematria to work out the identity of Mr. 666. Well, it turns out the right gematria to use is English! If you think about it, this is logical because of who the antichrist is. With names like Hussein, Barry, Soetoro and Obama, are we sure we are able to come up with their equivalents in Hebrew and Greek, with no wriggling room for error?
Once you get past this mental block, and begin to apply the English gematria to Obama, the number 666 just pops like popcorn! The abundance of 666 is proof positive that we have found the man. The remarkable thing about these 666 occurrences is that THEY ARE BIBLICAL! The Author of the Word of God planted clues in the Book and posed us a teaser in chapter 13 verse 18 of the book of Revelation. The chapter and verse numbers of the 666 scripture are instructive: 13 is the number of rebellion and 18 is 6+6+6.
The first evidence that floored me is this. Two years ago Paul Black (a friend of Ian Mallett) posted an intriguing article called 'Counting Numbers' (see link). Paul wrote:

There are four references to 666 in the bible, three in the OT, one in the NT. The three OT references are, 1 Kings 10:14 at 9,094, 2 Chronicles 9:13 at 11,378, and Ezra 2:13 at 12,041. The total is 32,513 or 41 x 793.

Revelation 13:18 is 30,927, or 39 x 793. All four verses are therefore 80 x 793. This amazingly high common factor is the eleventh figurate hexagram, or star of David, which is made up of twelve triangles of 66, the eleventh triangular number. Notice the Revelation verse has the 3 x 13 again. The total number of letters in the four verses is 216, or 6 x 6 x 6.

What a remarkable discovery! What is so special about the number 793 that it is a common factor in the four 666 scriptures? An unbiased researcher like Paul Black took notice of it. No doubt he was puzzled by its intimate link with the number 666. Is it chance or design? Is there a purpose for its connection with the number of the beast? I believe there is. Observe that it is a factor of 13, the number of rebellion: 793 = 13 x 61. Astonishingly, it is also the standard English gematria value (see below) of BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA!

The reader may ask:  But I thought the name of the antichrist is supposed to add to 666, not 793? Perhaps this is the reason why we have failed to identify Obama so far. He is hidden in the four 666 scriptures even though his name is not equal to 666. (Shortly I will show his name does add to 666 in more ways than one!) Obama was born Aug 4, 1961. His birthdate is day 216 that year and the number 216 is 6 x 6 x 6! This is also the total number of letters of the four 666 verses! The total number of letters in Obama's name is 18 (6+6+6) -- also the verse number of the 666 scripture in Revelation chapter 13! Ted also discovered that the common English gematria (A=6; B=12; C=18...) of BARACK is 216 (6 x 6 x 6)!

Of the four 666 scriptures, the beast scripture is most stunning in revealing Obama:

Rev 13:18 (6+6+6) = verse 30927  = 13x793 + 13x793 + 13x793 !!! To put it in English, the 666 beast scripture verse number is REBELLIOUS (13) BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA (793) triply emphasized!
Since the antichrist is counterfeit christ, his number is the mirror of JESUS in Hebrew, 397! (see link) The 1189 chapters in the Bible attest to this mirroring: chapter 793 is chapter 397 counting from the last chapter! If you sum all numbers from 1 to 793, the total is 397 x 793 !!!!!
John the Revelator confirms the mirroring as well. The word antichrist is purely Johannine (1 Jn 2:18 twice; 2:22; 4:3; 2 Jn 7). In its first mention, the word appears TWICE for double emphasis. Is there a link between this DOUBLE ANTICHRIST verse and the 666 BEAST verse, both Johannine? You bet! Be amazed by the mirroring below:

1 John 2:18 (18=6+6+6) = verse 30569 = 7 x 11 x 397
    Re 13:18 (18=6+6+6) = verse 30927 = 3 x 13 x 793

What are the chances that the number of verses between them is 359 inclusive, the Hebrew gematria value of SATAN? Furthermore (thanks to Barry Amundsen!), the 359th chapter of the Bible is the first chapter in the Bible where Satan is mentioned by name!

Evidence #2

Besides the standard and common English gematria schemes mentioned above, we also have the ordinal (A=1; B=2; C=3; ... Z=26) and reduced values (see link & below).

The standard, ordinal and reduced values of Barack Hussein Obama are 793, 163 and 64. Scripture records the death of Judas (type of antichrist) in two chapters, Mat 27 and Acts 1. The chapter number of Mat 27 is 956 -- the sum of 793 and 163 -- standard and ordinal values of Barack Hussein Obama! The total number of chapters between Mat 27 and Acts 1 inclusive is 64 -- the reduced value of  Barack Hussein Obama!
Phew! The man is pointed to by Judas Iscariot in the only two chapters that record his death!

Evidence #3
The common English gematria (A=6; B=12; C=18 ...) of Barack Hussein Obama is 978. This does not look like 666. In fact, none of the three values above look like 666. However, the sum of these four values is 793+163+64+978 = 666 + 666 + 666  !!!!!!!!
Need I say more!?

Evidence #4

Increasingly coincidence is ruled out. Apply the four counting schemes to Obama's real name: BARRY SOETORO. The standard, ordinal, reduced and common values are 1458, 171, 63 and 1026. Again,  none of them looks like 666. The sum of the four values of Barack Hussein Obama is 666 triply emphaized. What about the sum of the four values of Obama's real name, Barry Soetoro? Can we also find the number of the beast? Yes! All it takes is a bit of manipulation of the numbers. It is certainly not the straightforward counting that we are accustomed to, to arrive at the number of the antichrist. But I think you will agree with me the number of the beast is hidden here as well! Subtract the forth value from the first three values: 1458 + 171 + 63 - 1026 = 666  !!!!!!

Evidence #5
In this evidence, Jesus REVEALED to John the identity of the antichrist! Impossible? With Jesus, all things are possible. He is the Wonderful Numberer. John the Revelator received the antichrist teaser and recorded it in Revelation chapter 13. John the Evangelist was shown the betrayer of Jesus (a type of antichrist) in chapter 13 of his Gospel. Is there a link between these two chapters marked by the number of rebellion, 13?

Take the standard, ordinal and reduced values of Barack Hussein Obama. Begin with Revelation 13 as the first chapter. Count forward the sum of these three values of the antichrist (793+163+64). Can you believe the counting leads us to John 13 when Jesus REVEALED to John the identity of Judas Iscariot in v26 (13+13)? 793+163+64 = 10 (Re 13 to end Bible) + 1189 (total no chapters of Bible) + 1010
Chapter 1010 = John 13 !!
Verse 27 says SATAN entered into Judas, the only person with the dubious honor of being possessed by Lucifer in Scripture! No doubt the antichrist is the Devil incarnate. At the start of this chapter verse 2, John recorded for us the DEVIL put into the heart of Judas to betray Jesus! The name JUDAS ISCARIOT last appears in the Bible in this chapter!
So, tell me, is it coincidence that Barack Hussein Obama (three gematria values) just fits nicely between John 13 and Revelation 13 -- two antichrist chapters?

Evidence #6
5 million people will be in Washington to witness the inauguration of Obama on Jan 20, 2009. The world is falling all over him! In an interesting post by Hollis Caravetta yesterday (see link), she observed the 666 dimensions of the obelisk: "At the ground level each side of the monument measures 55.5’ long, which is equal to 666”.  As I already mentioned, the height of the obelisk is 555.5’ or 6,666”!"

Obama will be sworn in Jan 20, 2009. Given his immense popularity, let's just say he will go on and win the second term which ends on Jan 20, 2017. What do you know? On that end date, Obama will have lived close to 55.5 years, that is, 666 months since his birth on Aug 4, 1961!

To be precise, the total number of days inclusive is 20259 (55 years 5 months 17 days). Jan 2017 is Obama's 666th month since birth. But better still, 20259 days is the sum of 6+6+6 values of Barack Hussein Obama (standard value 793) and Barry Soetoro (standard value 1458) !!!!!!!!!!!
