What is in a Name?

Gematria (Hebrew numerology) of Barack Hussein Obama (in Hebrew)is 501.
Equivalent to the gematria of "President" or "Rosh" in Hebrew.
Also equivalent to "Yishmaelim" in Hebrew - showing that Obama really is from the nation of Ishmael.... (muslim)

Rosh definition

(Ezek. 38:2, 3; 39:1) is rendered "chief" in the Authorized Version. It is left untranslated as a proper name in the Revised Version. Some have supposed that the Russians are here meant, as one of the three Scythian tribes of whom Magog was the prince. They invaded the land of Judah in the days of Josiah. Herodotus, the Greek historian, says: "For twenty-eight years the Scythians ruled over Asia, and things were turned upside down by their violence and contempt." (See BETHSHEAN.)

Barak - Meanings "blessing" in Arabic.
                      Means "lightning" in Hebrew.
Hussein - was the son of Ali and the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad.

Obama - OPEYEMI   m & f   Western African, Yoruba
Means "I should give praise" in Yoruba.

The Yoruba people (Yoruba: Àwọ̀n ọ́mọ́ Yorùbá) are an ethnic group of southwestern Nigeria and southern Benin in West Africa.

Barack

B-R-K

The first consonantal spelling, B-R-K (Arabic: بارك‎, Bārak, and Hebrew: ברךּBārak), is most commonly associated in Arabic with the meaning "blessed" as well as the meanings "to make to kneel down" (said of the camel), "to stoop", and "to cower". In Hebrew, it can be traced from Phoenecian, Ugaritic, Aramaic, Akkadian, and Classical Arabic roots having the meanings, "knee", "kneel", "prostrate", "venerate", "bless", "be blessed", and "boon" as well as (camel's, human) "chest" and sometimes "curse" or "blaspheme".[1]:p.48[2]:p.121
In Arabic, the prefix mu- as used in Arabic: مبارك‎, Mubārak connects the word which follows it with the word before it, making the former an adjective of the latter, hence the phrase "hosni mubarak" means "hosni who is blessed".

B-R-Q

The consonantal spelling B-R-Q (Arabic: لبُراق‎, Burāq and Hebrew: ברק‎, Bārāq) is the second form. The meaning of this form in Arabic is "to shine", "to gleam", "to lighten", and "to open widely" (said of the eyes). Similarly, the Hebrew significance is "lightning", "flash", "to give light" and "to be visible".[1]:p.47[2]:p.122 It is this spelling that is most commonly associated with the modern use of the word as a name in Hebrew, and is the spelling that is used in Hebrew newspapers for the first name of the 44th president of the United States, Barack Obama.[citation needed]

Hussein

Husseinis are primarily found in the Arab world, South Asia, and Iran. Because of their lineage, the Husseini family is considered one to be respected, honored and are given the title of Sayyid. This title represents a person who is a direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad and his grandson Husain ibn Ali.
The name Hussein is of Arabic origin. The meaning of Hussein is "small, handsome one".

Obama

Obama is simply a name of African origin, specifically south-western Kenya from the Luo ethnic group and it means slightly bending or crooked. Many of the Luo male names have the prefix O to mean 'he'

Soetoro

I went to google translate and translated Soetoro from Javanese to Indonesian, and the translation was Maliya.

What does Maliya mean?

Hebrew – sea of bitterness; rebelliousness; wished-for child ; to swell
1.      Egyptian – beloved of Amun

Amun was a local deity of Thebes. He was attested since the Old Kingdom together with his spouse Amaunet. With the 11th dynasty, he rose to the position of patron deity of Thebes by replacing Monthu. After the rebellion of Thebes against the Hyksos and with the rule of Ahmose I, Amun acquired national importance, expressed in his fusion with the Sun god, Ra, as Amun-Ra. Amun-Ra retained chief importance in the Egyptian pantheon throughout the New Kingdom. Amun-Ra in this period held the position of transcendental, self-created creator deity "par excellence", he was the champion of the poor or troubled and central to personal piety. His position as King of Gods developed to the point of virtual monotheism where other gods became manifestations of him. With Osiris, Amun-Ra is the most widely recorded of the Egyptian gods. As the chief deity of the Egyptian Empire, Amun-Ra also came to be worshipped outside of Egypt, in Ancient Libya and Nubia, and as Zeus Ammon came to be identified with Zeus in Ancient Greece.

French – pregnant

Maliya is a form of the African, English, Hawaiian, Spanish, Swahili, and Zuni name Malia.
